The approximate location of the boundary between two states seaward of the coastline and terminating at the Submerged Lands Act Boundary. Because most State boundary locations have not been officially described beyond the coast, are disputed between states or in some cases the coastal land boundary description is not available, these lines serve as an approximation that was used to determine a starting point for creation of BOEM’s OCS Administrative Boundaries. Downloadable GIS files are not available for this layer due to its unofficial status. |
